I saw an E3 in a Home Depot parking lot in south Saint Louis City. This model, the Bavaria, was designed by Wilheim Hofmeister (of “ !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ” fame) and introduced BMWs inline six engine and round headlights, which sorta still remain today.
I love the wheels, simplicity, and sturdiness of this sedan. It looks like the perfect daily driver to keep running with precautionary maintenance for years and years.
